Airport Information:

The closest airport to the University of Arizona is Tucson International Airport (TUS); many major airlines fly into TUS. For more information about travel to and from Tucson International please visit their website.

Many families choose to fly into one of the two airports in the Phoenix metro area when attending orientation at the University of Arizona.  The two airports options in Phoenix are: Phoenix Sky Harbor (http://skyharbor.com/) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway (http://www.phxmesagateway.org/).  Please keep in mind that the travel time, by rental vehicle, between these airports and the University of Arizona will be about two hours.  If traveling through Phoenix we recommend plenty of extra time in addition to that two hour travel window in case of any delays.

Travel from the Airport:

Shuttle service and ground transportation options to the University of Arizona from Tucson International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor are available.

From Tucson International Airport please visit TIA’s Ground Transportation Website

From Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport please contact Arizona Shuttle http://www.arizonashuttle.com/

Other Travel Options:

Tucson is served by both Amtrak rail service and Greyhound bus service.  For more information please visit, www.amtrak.com or http://www.greyhound.com/.  If arriving to Tucson via Amtrak or Greyhound you may take a taxi or the Sun Tran (http://suntran.com/) bus to the campus.  The University of Arizona is located about three miles from both the Amtrak and Greyhound stations.
