The orientation experience is built around you, as it is designed to assist you in fulfilling the necessary steps prior to starting your first semester at the University of Arizona.

Out of State Orientation
The out-of-state New Student Orientation programs are offered to our non-resident incoming freshmen. This program mirrors the on-campus program and is a full day; please make your travel arrangements accordingly. Please keep in mind that space is limited for these programs. The on-campus New Student Orientation program is a one-day program with mandatory activities and sessions scheduled from early in the morning until 5:00pm. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly. A sample schedule can be viewed here.
Honors Overnight On-Campus Orientation
The supplemental Honors Orientation takes place on Day 2 of your New Student Orientation. The Honors Orientation program schedule includes:
- Honors Advising
- Honors Student Engagement
- Messages from Dean and Support Staff
This program has mandatory activities and sessions scheduled until 2pm on Day 2. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.
