During the summer, Orientation & New Student Services is inviting you to connect with campus partners, current students & many other resources! These are virtual interest and drop-in sessions hosted by campus and academic resource departments. Get your questions answered whether they’re about student life, financial aid, or finding more academic resources! Sessions will be live on select Thursdays throughout the summer. Navigating University Success: A Guide to Essential Resources

Join us to learn about university student success resources! Learn about essential tools and services available to incoming students, including peer mentoring, tutoring, ways to connect to campus, general support and where to go with all your questions. 

THINK TANK - Academic Support for You!

Come learn about THINK TANK, the University of Arizona's Academic Support Center. We provide a variety of services including tutoring, academic coaching, supplemental instruction and writing support. 

Meal Plans Office Hours

Wondering where to eat on campus? Confused about Meal Plans? Find out everything you need to know with our Meal Plan experts!

Residency Classification Questions- Residency for Tuition Purposes

Feel free to drop in if you have any questions regarding residency for tuition purposes (billing purposes). This may include questions about residency verification procedures, residency exceptions, and more. Not Offered on August 1st

Interested in joining a Fraternity or Sorority? Join Fraternity & Programs staff to learn more about the Greek experience at U of A, how to join, and helpful resources for students, parents, and family members.

Registration Assistance with the Orientation Leaders

Orientation Leaders (OLs) will be available to answer course registration questions and assist with schedule changes! Students may drop-in AFTER they have attended their academic advising meetings

Franke Honors College Sessions

Whether dropping in to meet the Honors Advising to get questions answered or wanting more info on the program, admitted Honors students are invited to check out the session offerings from the W.A Franke Honors College!

Military & VA Benefits

Come learn how to use your VA Benefits (Post 9/11, Montgomery, Chapter 35, 1606, the VR&E) and Tuition Assistance! The Military-Connected Benefits & Certifications Office will help you navigate the different VA options for funding as you pursue your education at the University of Arizona.

The OLs Present: A Current Student Panel

Come join the Orientation Leaders (OLs) and hear about their experience transitioning to the University of Arizona! They will share about their challenges, their transition, offer advice and have time for Q&A, about all things University of Arizona.

Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid

We know that planning for college costs is an important part of your orientation process. During this session, our Ask Aid Team will cover everything you need to know to ensure you receive your aid on time, plan for costs, and understand the options offered to you. Our team will also be available to answer any questions as you navigate your aid options

Orientation to the University Libraries

 Join us for an informative session where we’ll guide you through the many resources available to support your academic journey. Explore the four library spaces across campus, each with a different focus to support your academic needs.

Your Wildcat Career Journey ft Blue Chip Leadership

Learn how to get engaged on campus, gain experience as a new Wildcat, and take your first steps towards your dream career! LifeLab is your front door to getting engaged, especially for incoming students: we’re a low-stress space to help uncover your interests and discover all the different connections you can make to build skills on campus. We’ll also share about our Blue Chip Leadership program, a student development program where you can make friends, boost your resume, and grow as a leader.

Molecular & Cellular Biology Drop-Ins

Come chat with the Molecular and Cellular Biology academic advisors and student ambassadors to learn more about the MCB major and minor, how MCB can help you with prep for pre-health and/or graduate school goals and learn about all the amazing opportunities the MCB department has to offer! Current MCB students and those interested in MCB are always welcome to stop by for questions or information; we are here for you! 

Disability Resource Center

Learn more about the Disability Resource Center (DRC) and the University of Arizona’s process for requesting housing and/or academic accommodations. We will cover how to affiliate with our office for the first time and answer any questions you have about accessibility on campus. Students who have had an IEP or 504 plan are encouraged to attend! 

Advising for Health Professions

Are you planning to pursue medical school, dental school, physical therapy school, or another health profession after earning a bachelor’s degree? There is much to accomplish while pursuing your bachelor’s degree to be a competitive candidate for a professional health or graduate school. Attend this session to learn about these necessary accomplishments and how working with a pre-health professions advisor can strengthen your application to future graduate and/or health profession schools.

Schedule for Success Drop Ins

Welcome to Schedule for Success! In this session, you will learn about the Schedule for Success program, interact with program staff, the Math 100 team, meet one-on-one with Math Advisors, and have the opportunity to get your questions answered. 

Parking & Transportation Services

We are here to help you get #WildcatReady! Successfully getting on campus is a great start to your Wildcat experience. We offer a variety of parking and transportation options, and this session will give you information about our services and programs at a glance. Not Offered July 11 or August 1
