Welcome New Students!

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Arizona. We are thrilled that you will be joining our Wildcat family!

As a new student at UA, you are bound to have questions. New Student Orientation is designed around you, helping to uncover the answers to the questions you have, and providing you information about campus resources, programs and services.  By the time you leave orientation, you’ll be on your way to becoming a successful UA student.

You will learn a lot about UA at New Student Orientation.  The program is an opportunity for you to learn how to navigate campus and will introduce Wildcat community.  During the program you will begin to build a network of resources that will help you to start your UA journey on the right path.  At New Student Orientation you will find out more about:

  • Your major
  • Your fall schedule of classes
  • Financial aid and scholarships
  • Housing and Meal plans
  • Books
  • Tutoring
  • Clubs and organizations
  • And many other campus resources!

Additionally, during New Student Orientation you will learn tips from students, faculty and staff who will serve as your guides during your time at the UA.  The Orientation and Welcome Leaders will be around throughout your session, and, as current students, they are ready to answer your questions about life on campus. Come to the program with your questions about what it means to be a Wildcat!

New Student Orientation also provides you with a chance to meet other incoming UA students.  Be prepared to meet new people, and to make new friends, orientation is your chance to show everyone that you are Wildcat Ready!

We look forward to meeting you this summer!
