FOLLOW BAG POLICIES

Destination Arizona events will be held in various spaces that range in size and rules. To keep it easy for you, here are some guidelines we highly recommend you follow when thinking about bringing personal belongings with you to sessions:
Keep the bags at home. If you bring a bag, whether it meets the typical guidelines for McKale Memorial Center or Centennial Hall, you will be subjected to a search. To keep the lines moving and your Destination Arizona experience as seamless as possible, we recommend leaving the bags at home and only bringing what is absolutely necessary.
Water bottles are allowed.

CHECK THE WEATHER

Tucson is located in the Sonoran Desert. What does this mean? It’s HOT! Especially this time of year. Be sure that you dress accordingly; wear comfortable shoes, and don’t leave the water bottle behind. In this heat, it’s important to stay hydrated and take care of yourself.
August is also the middle of Monsoon Season, and this means rain can come quickly and out of nowhere. Before leaving for Destination Arizona activities, be sure to double check the weather and bring a poncho or small umbrella just in case!
