Led by Destination Arizona leaders, Destination Arizona: Walk & Talk with a Wildcat provides you the opportunity to explore Arizona's campus alongside an experienced current student and your fellow incoming students.

Discover how to navigate to your classes, find your new favorite spaces on campus, and utilize resources designed to support you during your time at UA!

CAMPUS CONNECTIONS

In addition to campus exploration opportunities, various academic and resource offices will be open during Destination Arizona for any lingering questions you may have prior to the start of classes!

A full list of available resources will be provided during your Walk & Talk experience.

We suggest parking in the Second Street Garage (1390 E 2nd St). Parking is $2.25/hour with a maximum of $18 per day. Payments are conveniently accepted at exit gates, mobile pay, or pay stations. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Please note that cash or checks are not accepted. We do not validate parking.

If you have a valid parking pass on campus for the Spring semester, you can park at your assigned location!

CHECK THE WEATHER

This event will be primarily hosted outside and includes a lot of walking. Dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes and outerwear as needed. While Tucson can be quite hot, our winters do tend to be cold and weather can be unpredictable at times.

REVIEW POLICIES / PROCEDURES

For Destination Arizona, you will find yourself in buildings that have regulations around items that are allowed. Please follow our policies and procedures.

CHECK-IN

Destination Arizona check-in will be in the lower level of the Campus Store (1209 E University Blvd). Be sure to arrive on-time as campus explorations will begin promptly at your designated time slot.

Our Destination Arizona Leaders will guide your group (~10 incoming students, including yourself) around campus to help find your classes and key campus resources you may need! (Time duration: 1 hour)
